THE TRANSPARENCY GRENADE BLOWS UP SECRECY

Coverage by :- Wajih Bokhari

You do not have to be Julian Assange (Wiki Leaks) or James Bond (007) carrying out “On Her majesty Secret Service” by alternating Bedroom Scenes with Spying which left audiences at the end of the Day wondering which was the greater Service of the two. Well, do not blame me if your Guess is as good as mine,we all get carried away by the Lucifer. Any way if one is a member of CIA, KGB or MI 6, either one is so ashamed of the Illustrious work done in the line of duty or else gets killed before revealing anything worthwhile, so being neither ashamed of doing anything close to James bond nor comfortably killed and still kicking, why not to share something out of the Book of Spy master lest someone whose Interests/Secrets are revealed gets me picked up, I better start talking and give out the details of The Transparency Grenade.

It is equipped with a tiny Computer, Microphone and a powerful wireless antenna., to captures Network traffic and Audio at the site, securely and anonymously streams it to a dedicated server where it is mined for information. Email fragments, HTML pages, images and voices extracted from this Data are the on an online, public map , to be shown at the desired location. This is one -off object created in January 2012 by Julian Oliver for the Studio Weise7 exhibition at Labor 8, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, curated by Transmediale 2012, Director, Kristoffer Gansing. It is presented in the form of a Soviet F1 Hand Grenade, The Transparency Grenade is an Iconic Cure for these frustrations, making the process of leakiing information from closed meetings as easy as pulling a pin. The core concept will continue to live on    .
